Prijai currently runs five manufacturing facilities in Maharashtra, and two more are in the works. Check out how the expansion helps OEMs in data center cooling, refrigeration, and HVAC.

Demand for Cooling Is Changing Shape

Thermal demand is simultaneously increasing on multiple fronts. Data centers require continuous cooling since they are putting more processing power into each rack. Manufacturers of heat pumps and HVAC systems are increasing production volumes and adjusting to new refrigerants. Commercial and industrial buildings require more effective climate control, and cold chains are growing.

Heat exchangers are essential to all of these tendencies. Additionally, OEMs developing these systems require manufacturing partners with the capacity, reliability, and engineering depth to develop with them.

That is why Prijai is expanding.

Where Prijai Stands Today

Founded in Thane, India, by Founder & Chairman Mr. Arun Sarnobat, Prijai has been providing thermal solutions since 1983. Today it is a manufacturer of Fin & Tube Heat Exchangers, complete OEM product assemblies and copper system tubing, and its footprint includes:

  • Five operational plants across Western India

  • Two more plants underway, forming a seven-unit manufacturing network

  • 17,000+ sq. m. of manufacturing space

  • 200,000+ units of annual capacity

  • 500+ heat exchanger configurations and 100+ customised OEM products

  • Customers in 12+ countries, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Australia

Why Expand Now?

1. OEM Growth Needs Capacity Ahead of Demand

When an OEM’s orders grow, its coil supplier can’t start planning capacity after the fact. Adding plants before the demand peak lets Prijai commit to volumes with confidence and protect customers from the lead-time stretch that often comes with rapid growth.

2. High-Density Cooling Raises the Bar

Data-centre applications such as remote condensers, thermal wall units, rear door heat exchangers and CRAH units call for precision and continuity. More manufacturing capacity means more room for customised, application-specific coil engineering without squeezing standard production.

3. Global Customers Need a Dependable Supply Corridor

With clients across multiple continents, Prijai’s network is designed to deliver through a multimodal logistics pipeline, connecting Maharashtra’s manufacturing bays to OEM lines worldwide. A larger, multi-plant network adds resilience and flexibility to that pipeline.

4. A Changing Technology Landscape

Shifts in refrigerants, compact heat exchanger designs and corrosion-protection needs mean OEMs are asking for more variety, not just more volume. Additional plants let Prijai broaden its capabilities while keeping each process controlled and repeatable.

What the Two New Plants Mean for Customers

In general terms, customers can expect:

  • More capacity: room for larger orders and faster ramp-ups

  • Greater flexibility: the ability to run diverse configurations in parallel

  • Stronger continuity: a multi-plant network that supports dependable supply

  • The same quality standards: consistent processes and quality controls applied across every unit

Growth Without Compromising Quality

Expanding capacity is only valuable if quality scales with it. Prijai’s approach is built on controlled manufacturing processes, defined quality checks and testing before dispatch, applied the same way in every plant. For OEMs, that means a coil built at one facility behaves like a coil built at another.

Built on Four Decades of Experience

Prijai’s expansion is the next step in a long journey. From a single operation in Thane, the company has grown into an end-to-end partner for coils, tubing and assemblies, serving OEMs in data-centre cooling, air conditioning and refrigeration. Each new plant carries forward that experience and the engineering mindset behind it.

Looking Ahead

Thermal demand will keep rising, and the systems that meet it will need to be more efficient, more compact and more reliable. By expanding its manufacturing network now, Prijai is preparing to support the next generation of cooling and heating applications, and the OEMs who build them.

If you’re planning production growth and want to understand how Prijai’s capacity can support it, we’d like to talk.
